Arankele

Arankele is an extensive Tapovana located close to the mountain. The ruins are scattered from the bottom of the mountain in an easterly direction. There are well-laid roadways to reach the buildings. Amongst the ruins, special mention should be made of the sauna baths. There had been stone-made square cisterns for baths. There were furnaces to boil water in large earthen pots containing medicinal items together with stones for the grinding of medicines.

The steam bath emanating from these pots had been to provide a form of treatment. There were lavatories and urinaries nearby.
