This sacred place is situated 8 km on the Rambukkana-Dombemada road leading towards Kurunegala within the Rambukkana division.

Keledambulla situated in a scenic rock outcrop. This historic cave temple is said to have served as a security frontier. A flight of over 500 steps must be climbed to reach the Vihara, which is located at the top of the rock. There are many beautiful sculptures and paintings in the rock temple. It is believed that due to the patronage received from King Kirthi Sri Rajasinghe of Kandy, an artist named Devaragampola Silvath was commissioned to complete the paintings.

The Singaraja Sadhu Cariya records the many offerings made by the King to this temple. The reclining Buddha image in the Vihara is considered a unique creation, and some of the paintings, including the twin lions, are considered unusual murals. A sculpture of Leuke Maha Disawa wearing the four-edged cap, who was instrumental in getting the artwork done, is also available. King Kirthi Sri Rajasinghe had offered high Jand and paddy fields by a decree recorded in the Sannasa in 1746. This ancient shrine attracts large numbers of pilgrims. Ownership of the establishment is with the pupillary succession of Welivita Saranankasa Singaraja.
