Kirigalpoththa

Kirigalpoththa Mountain is in Nuwara Eliya. It is the second-highest mountain of Sri Lanka and about 2395 metres above sea level. Its speciality is that endemic birds, plants, and animals being present in this mountain. Out of those that can be seen are Binara flowers, Maharathmal flowers, Sambur, Deer, Horned Chameleon, and Jungle Fowl and many more endemic varieties can be found in this mountain. Leopards maintain the natural ecological equilibrium. The access to Kirigalpoththa is somewhat different as you need to tome to the car park at Horton Plains and then go to the top of the forest. The walk is about 12 km as there is no other clear path to travel. But another difficult way also has via
