Town of Balabowa is a small lie between Minuwangoda and Veyangoda in Gampaha District. This ancient Ambalama was constructed for pilgrims, traders and travellers. It is beautifully situated by the small road surrounded by paddy fields.
Balabowa Ambalama is constructed with brick and mortar, with no artwork. A half-height wall around the building completes the structure—an opening for the entrance at the front. The roof is clad with semi-cylindrical Sinhala Ulu.
