Udammita Ambalama

Built-in 1829 the Udammita Ambalama is an ancient wayside rest on the Nittambuwa – Veyangoda road. This Ambalama is a large building with two small rooms. A half-height wall completes the open area of the Ambalama. This Ambalama was renovated in 2012. To reach this Ambalama travel to Nittambuwa then turn towards Veyangoda. The building is approximately 1.8 km on this road.
