THE PLACE
Daulagala Arattana Tampita Viharaya preserves a raised image house within a village temple, the defining feature of Tampita architecture. The sacred chamber stands clear of the ground on short stone supports and is entered separately from the rest of the temple buildings around it.
Published detail on the site's date and interior is limited, and nothing here fills that gap with guesswork.
