THE PLACE
Diyakerella Ella descends through forest over a rock formation about 45 metres high near Meemure. The upper fall is the section most readily seen through the dense vegetation; the water continues into another drop below. Lakkgala rises above the surrounding landscape, giving the waterfall a dramatic mountain setting.

Access through this forested terrain can be difficult and conditions change quickly. Use an experienced local guide, avoid elephant routes, and keep clear of slippery rock, steep drops and strong water.
