THE PLACE
Godamunne Ella lies in Godamunna village, roughly thirteen kilometres from Kandy on the Ampitiya side of the hills. Published descriptions identify it as a substantial local cascade, though little dependable detail exists on the approach or on which viewpoints are safe to reach.
Its appearance and accessibility will vary with rainfall and local ground conditions.
