THE PLACE
Yahangala is a prominent flat-topped rock formation near Kalugala in the Udadumbara area. It rises on the eastern side of the Knuckles landscape and is visited by experienced walkers for its exposed rock, remote setting and broad mountain views. Published access descriptions vary, so the route should be confirmed locally rather than attempted from coordinates alone.
