Kobbekaduwa Rajamaha Viharaya and Walawwa

Kobbekaduwa Rajamaha Viharaya and the nearby Kobbekaduwa Walawwa belong to the historic village landscape west of Kandy. The temple’s protected archaeological features include a Buddhist shrine and a drip-ledged rock cave. The walawwa represents the domestic history of an established Kandyan family, giving the area both religious and social interest.
