THE PLACE
Negombo Fish Market Negombo made its name as a fishing community today; you can witness the fishermen continue to bring there catch ashore as early as 4.00 am. The market is famous for its Shrimps, crabs and lobsters caught fresh from the famous Negombo Lagoon. Other big fresh fish is hauled in from the Indian Ocean. Well worth the experience is this fish market it's situated near the Negombo fort.
