THE PLACE
Savandarapiriya Sri Pattini Devalaya is a Tampita shrine, raised above the ground, in the Pasbage Korale area.
Local tradition attributes it to King Bhuvanekabahu IV of the Gampola kingdom, and says the king and queen rested here while travelling on pilgrimage to Sri Pada.
