THE PLACE

Placing a Pinthaliya for the traveller was a common practice. Pintaliya consists of a large pot made of clay to store water. was another part of the Sinhalese culture maintaining drinking water along common routes The Wataddara Pintaliya is located on the busy main road in Wataddara in Gampaha District. Now a protected site by the archaeological department. this Pinthaliya is located to the opposite of the Wataddara Ganekanda Vihara
