THE PLACE
Wathurakumbura Ambalapitiya Ambalama was recorded as a very small timber wayside shelter, about six feet square, near Wathurukumbura Madhya Maha Vidyalaya. Published information states that the structure had collapsed several years before that account was written. Its present condition and whether any fabric remains have not been reliably confirmed, so this entry is retained as the location of a former ambalama rather than describing a standing building.
